I love the Romantic Garden Sp especially the window, but there was only ever one of them. That really limited its use so I had to go about fixing that. This set took a while to complete; as much as I love the window, it wasn’t exactly easy to manipulate. However this addon is done and I now have a very usable set of objects that are great for grand entries, sun-rooms and greenhouses among other things. No longer is one of the best windows to come out of an SP limited by its uniqueness.

YOU KNOW WHAT ? I’M TIRED :D BUT HERE COME THE UPDATED TERRAINS FOR SEASONS : BOTH 202 AND 303 TERRAINS MODS

Hello everyone :)

First, thanks a lot to have been so patient … So as said in the 2 previous posts, we have at last found the hidden Seasons files :D and now it is time to share and to tell the whole story …

Soooooo … Last week, I contacted SimGuruModSquad who then posted a list of most textures files used by Seasons. Indeed it was a huge improvement ! They perfectly completed the ones I already got. But, I couldn’t find them … I couldn’t believe I didn’t find yet these files :D So, I started ( AGAIN ) from the ground to search and track all the missing files ….. And then I got the idea to search where I already did and ………..taadaaa ! Finally, they were there. They have always been there of course, in the most small corners of the game :D

Let’s me explain : usually, the textures are in 3 DataBuilds : 

- ClientFullBuild6.package

- ClientFullBuild7.package

- ClientFullBuild8.package

It is quite a long and boring stuff to find the needed files since each “Build” is around 1gb heavy ;)

In addition, when a new world is proposed by EA, you may find few new files in the ClientFullBuild0 of the expansion / gamepack …

In order to get quite a complete set of textures both for nature/urban mod, you have to check each time the 3 main ClientFullBuilds ……….

With Seasons, everything is different :D At first, we found only few files ( 5/6 files, no more ) because all the files were elsewhere !!!

The Autumn, Spring, Winter files are dispatched in almost all the Delta part of the game files, in almost each ClientDeltaBuild0 which compose both base game and expansions, and game packs ………………………. :D

There are no specific Summer files because they are the previous textures before Seasons ;)

So, making the 202 and 303 Terrains Mods was indeed a multiple steps process. And it is still the case !

I hope you already updated your files since the last update was a process of cleaning the mod and avoid the black texture all around the Sims Worlds … We targeted 2/3 files which caused a bug in San Myshuno. Well, we are still not 100% sure about these 2/3 files but we think they are maybe depreciated since Seasons, or because one specific file is called, if it is not a Seasons file, when a game is launched in the Business District of San Myshuno, or when you want to send your Sim there : conflict! :/

We tested much more than once San Myshuno, and we think the problem is solved now  —> most of strange bugs in San Myshuno are solved. If you play most of time there, better to not use the 44 floorpaints. As we transform only graphic files and as we improved and tested them all, maybe it is not our files ONLY after all ;)

But let’s enjoy today because as we found most of Spring and Autumn terrains textures, this update is going to be very interesting :D And we are glad because we received many many messages of encouragement :)

So … Let’s talk about the update :)

NEW : EARLY SPTEMBER UPDATE !

- We have added the date to the updated files : (21082018)  03092018

- Some files are not updated because they do not need it ( example : the Selvadorada files which are not affected by Seasons )

- ALL Urban Seasons Files have been added ! : (such as k-hippie-k-terrain-new-seasons-urban-replacement-ea-03092108.package)

- Some color adjustments ( Such as Granite Falls ) have been done :)

- For those who use the 44 Floorpaints Replacement Mod : there will be an update as soon as we find how to remove the specular and color calls ( the grass files make a call to an overlay which gives a much too bright green to the texture in Spring )

Of course I do not have to tell you this is a work in progress ;) but always keep your files updated !

Welcome to Selvadorada - Vacation World Makeover

I love this tropical world. It’s closer to the sort of vacation I would go on rather then to a mountainous retreat with lots of pine trees (they really aren’t a thing here in Australia, just flammable Eucalyptus). I have already made over the larger community lot which was in desperate need of attention, and now I have completed the remaining lots (minus the park at the bottom left). This style, a mixture of Mission and vibrant Spanish influences was so far out of my comfort zone I was afraid even GPS wouldn’t guide me back. However I managed to get more comfortable with the style and kept on building and the end result is what you see here, something I am incredibly proud of. Hopefully you all enjoy it as me as me.
